Our Story: From Personal Joy to Global Impact
Our journey began with a single, unforgettable moment of grace. Our founder, raised in a low-income community in Los Angeles, experienced the transformative power of generosity as a child. Through a school partnership with local nonprofits, she was given the opportunity to select new clothes from a warehouse filled with possibilities. The joy on her face—and those of her peers—was electric, a reminder that even the smallest gift can spark lifelong hope. That memory lingered, a seed of inspiration waiting to grow.
Decades later, during her first trip to India, that seed blossomed into action. Visiting orphanages overflowing with vulnerable, lonely children, our founder was moved by their quiet resilience and unmet needs. The question echoed in her heart: What can I do? What can we do? This profound calling led to the birth of Angels Foundation of Hope in our Oklahoma home—a nonprofit dedicated to extending that same spark of joy to communities near and far, including India and Mexico.
